Margin Level

Your margin level is simply the amount of margin you currently have available for opening further positions.

It’s given as a percentage of your equity to used margin and when it reaches 100% this means that you have no further margin available. Usually, at this point, your broker will make a margin call, requesting that you post more margin or will begin to liquidate your position.
