HUF
HUF is the three-letter ISO code of the Hungarian forint, the national currency of Hungary.
Created after the Second World War, the forint was instrumental in reforming the Hungarian economy and managed to achieve a stability that carried on into the 1980s, until the rise of the global market economy.
Traditionally the forint was subdivided into 100 fillér, however, these coins are no longer minted due to their negligible value.
